Bertini
The Hocol Nimir project in Colombia was one of the most challenging projects for Bertini’s professionals. Success was achieved through determination of the team, flexibility of the Oracle tool and effective participation of collaborators of Deloitte Colombia and Hocol, Homcol and Nimir.

Hocol Nimir was founded in 1956, marking the beginning of oil exploration in Colombia. The oil company is currently part of the Nimir Petroleum Limited group and is among the three largest oil companies of Colombia. Hocol, Homcol and Nimir are responsible for the perforation, administration and exploration of oil and gas wells in Colombia.

Challenges

» Develop ERP Oracle Business Suite, ASP model, in one of the largest oil companies in the world.
» Implementation of the modules Order to Cash, Purchasing to Pay, Projects and Contracts.

Solutions

» Bertini, in partnership with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, made use of its experience with Oracle products and management of global projects to develop ERP Oracle Business Suite, ASP model, in one of the largest oil companies of the world.
» Deloitte started to operate Hocol’s back-office system, along with Bertini, who implemented the modules Order to Cash, Purchasing to Pay, Projects and Contracts.
» The large complexity of this project allowed for our consultants (all Brazilians, with international experience) to apply all the knowledge acquired in other projects, and resulted in the learning of some peculiarities of the oil industry.
» Bertini took over another important Project outside of Brazil, showing its capacity with IT solutions also in the international market.
